My partner and I just returned from a 10 night vacation to Playa del Carmen, Mexico. We had a wonderful time. We booked thru home away with a family renting out their “charming penthouse” in Playa del Carmen. Victor and Helene were wonderful hosts. They are both very knowledgeable about the surroundings and eager to help. The space was amazing. A private rooftop patio and soaking pool outside with lots of different sitting areas. The bed………….the bed was wonderful. I really need to find out what kind of mattress that was because I haven’t slept that good, ever. We were in touch with the owners before leaving home and so we felt very confident in all the arrangements. Victor and Helene sent several emails with details on directions, surroundings, etc. I would recommend Home Away, but I would especially recommend staying a the “Charming Penthouse, Playa del Carmen.” Cant wait to go back
