My husband and I have been using VRBO and HomeAway for over a decade, and love the convenience and property information. We’ve always called and asked questions about properties before booking & paying, so we have not experienced the issues that a few others have. We’ve rented both small cabins/cottages for two, and large retreats for 40, both in state and out of state. One really important feature is the customer ratings on each property on the HomeAway site.
